Get your families together- brothers, sisters, in-laws, sons, daughters. boyfriends and whatever constitutes a family and you've got GAME!!!!!
A Family Football League is one heated but friendly event. It is personal. It is pleasing. It is also about pride but above all, it is about families. One day, we should think about organizing a Family Football League of National proportions.

Just like the Gothia Cup and other international events, we should consider a Philippine Football Tour as well. Summer would be a great time to hold this event. Lets organize festivals all over the country and encourage clubs and school teams to participate. All of them just days apart so that our footballers can hop from island to island to play the game.

It's time we honor our President with a football cup on her behalf.
A well organized tournament that will make her proud. A worthy event that will turn-on our Philippine President to the world's number one sport. This will get football really good publicity. Lets do one yearly and get some good PR going.

The National Team can help promote the game by touring the country like Football Ambassadors. We should organize festivals where the Nationals can conduct clinics for kids. They can teach kids to play the game. This will be a great way to introduce the sport to children. Let's Bring our National Teams across the nation and organize festival/clinics wherever they visit.

If we can do Inter-subdivision football, surely we can do Inter-Barangay. We need to bring our favorite sport to as many people as we can. Inter-Barangay football played in make-shift street basketball courts is one great way to start.

I always like looking at different ways to play football so as to keep the game fresh and upbeat. Lets try to play football everywhere. Parking lots aren't such a bad idea. Although we may want to target parking lots of commercial establishments like McDonalds or Jollibee in the daytime, more exciting are the large parking lots in commercial areas. Most of these outdoor parking lots have lights. So lets play when the malls close down and the cars are gone and enjoy some night football.

We need to involved ourselves in football with international scope. Let's organize friendlies. And to make them more thrilling and meaningful for our fans, lets make friendly tournaments with 3 or 4 teams competing. Let's invite national teams from countries in every continent. International friendlies held here are better for the promotion of the game than our teams going out to play.

The provincial football association challenge cup is a weekend event between two neighboring provinces. For example: Bacolod vs. Iloilo. Let the Football Associations organize teams of all ages, boys and girls, men and women, and make them play in a dual meet of sorts. Organize these on a Home and Away basis. One day in Iloilo and the next day in Bacolod. The PFA Challenge Cup will not only create rivalry but will also foster camaraderie.

There are a handful of people that we have to honor for their contribution, support and loyalty to football. I want to organize festivals in the name of these honorees. The yearly Cris Monfort Festival is the best example. So lets do more of these festivals if only to remember those that did their part for football. 0r even those who ceaselessly continue to do their part. Lets honor our local football friends, heroes and legends.
Help us to work together in this game that we love, Direct us to form young men and women of good moral character and integrity, Guide us to be charitable to the needs of the poor and the homeless, Instill in our Families and our Communities the values of fairplay and justice, May we always remember, that in all our efforts to develop the game, We will offer it up, for your Goodness. And may the good we do for football, always lead us to your Goodness.
