We need to plan this properly. A pro-league will surely be good for the game but we need to make sure that it will be good for our sponsors as well.

A well thought out and well studied plan is required before PFF launches a Professional League. We can't afford to organize and fold up. It'll hurt the image of the game we all love. It'll hurt the PFF. If we want a Professional Football League, then we need to plan it like Professionals with Professional Planners.

This needs proper planning and therefore, we need to organize a group at PFF willing to work on this. Our RP Teams need a training center...badly. So let's build one. We need to find the right sponsors and donors to help fund this process. Let's find the real estate and make real plans for the future of our National Teams.

I want more football-people in the Philippines to watch international games on television. One way of doing this is by encouraging the formation of International Fan Clubs. These fan clubs would then be able to organize and meet during games inside football-friendly bars and restaurants and cheer for their favorite teams.

Nothing says advertising more than billboards. Surely, everyone has seen a billboard ad on their way to work, school, etc. We are planning to work on some exchange deals with major corporations regarding their well placed billboards; especially those located on common highways where millions can see. This will greatly enhance the promotion of our sport.

We need to plan a way to get our National team coaches better exposure and experience. I want to find a way to have them attached to international clubs. For example, our two Class A coaches Aris Caslib and Marlon Maro could be attached to clubs in the La Liga, Serie A, or English Premier League. The experience they will get from this will surely benefit our National Teams.

For the Good of Football

Heavenly Father,

Help us to work together in this game that we love,
Direct us to form young men and women
of good moral character and integrity,
Guide us to be charitable
to the needs of the poor and the homeless,
Instill in our Families and our Communities
the values of fairplay and justice,
May we always remember,
that in all our efforts to develop the game,
We will offer it up, for your Goodness.
And may the good we do for football,
always lead us to your Goodness.

Amen
