Hi pop! Finally, your hardwork is going to pay off soon because it's crunch time! After everything you've discussed with Becca and I at home, I've finally come up with my list of expectations from your presidency and OUR PFF. Firstly, when you become president (take note: "when" not "if"), I expect that futbol will become the 2nd most popular sport in our country, IF NOT THE FIRST! With your creative genius, I expect you will find ways to let every Pinoy know what is happening in the futbol world. Secondly, when the next World Cup comes in 2010, I expect the biggest and most popular bars and clubs in the country to be packed with futbol fans cheering for their favorites. I expect to see more and more people become more passionate about this sport, like you are and how you've made me and all the people around you, FUTBOL CRAZY! Thirdly, I expect there to be Pinoy futbol STARS who are treated, admired and revered like superstars, just like Manny Pacquiao. Lastly and most importantly, I expect OUR PFF to help those less fortunate than we are through numerous futbol projects. For anything to be worthwhile, it should change people and their lives in a positive way. With your kindness, creativity, wisdom and soon-to-come power, I believe that all these things can and will become a reality. Good luck pop and know that we will always be here to support you.

Love,

Kara

Tito ed,

Ever-since you were my former coach in high school, i've always had high expectations from you. Not only as a coach but as a friend, a mentor, and a second father to me. You showed that you trusted me as team captain for my team and for helping you campaign. Now i return the favor by trusting you as the future president. I expect that WHEN you win, you will make the sport that we love as popular as it can be and bring out the beauty of it. Others are missing out on life by not experiencing the sport, but you will make them complete by bringing the sport to them. I expect you to be true to your word in reaching success and i expect you to stay the way you are, always thriving for what you want.

Tito Ed,

I, first of all, want to say congratulations. Even though you have not yet won, taking this big of a step takes a lot of courage. Kudos to your bravery, your confidence, and most of all your passion for this sport. If not for people like you, football will be nothing but a sport we see in television. I really do expect your ideas (when you become president) to heighten the popularity of football in this country. Just from reading them, I know for sure that these will definitely draw in more people in taking interest. If I took in the perspective of a non-football fan, your ideas would spark even just a little interest. Stay strong. This will be tougher and it will take a lot out of you. But try to imagine the smiles on people's faces once you've accomplished your own and everyone else's goals.

Hey Tito Ed,

It’s about time that something like this happened! I’m sure that a lot of people who do not know you think you’re absolutely crazy to be running for president of the PFF. On the other hand, the people close to you all know that it’s been a long time coming. You are a genius. You have no idea how much people can be inspired by the spontaneity of your thoughts and actions, and the success that almost always accompanies that.

When you become the president of the PFF I expect you to carry out all those plans you always talk about with as much spirit, dedication, and love for the game as you show every single day. I expect you to do what you’ve always done for us: make football fun for everyone! And by doing this, make the Filipino people fall in love with the sport.

Congratulations on getting this far, and may there be more reason for congratulations to come!

For the Good of Football

Heavenly Father,

Help us to work together in this game that we love,
Direct us to form young men and women
of good moral character and integrity,
Guide us to be charitable
to the needs of the poor and the homeless,
Instill in our Families and our Communities
the values of fairplay and justice,
May we always remember,
that in all our efforts to develop the game,
We will offer it up, for your Goodness.
And may the good we do for football,
always lead us to your Goodness.

Amen
